5 Tips for the 2014 PGA Championship.

The final major of the year tees off on Thursday as the world’s greatest golfer’s challenge each other for their last chance to win one of the big prizes. This year’s PGA is being held in KFC land so look forward to a lot of yeehaws, chicken eating and some great moustaches.

I tipped Jason Dufner to win last year and he delivered, will I make it two in a row? Only one way to find out!

Valhalla will require good iron play, so pretty much my picks will reflect that. I’m not going into too much detail but they are all picked for similar reasons; good form, accurate play and bottle. Interestingly Europeans have never won 3 out of the 4 majors in a single season, so it would make you think that there will be a non-European win, but prior to McIlroy winning the Open no European player had won 3 out of the 4 majors and we all know that is no longer the case. These are value bets and not necessarily who I think will win and naturally you should bet each way.

Jordan Spieth 40/1

Brandt Snedeker 60/1

Lee Westwood 66/1

Jason Day 66/1

Zach Johnson 70/1

So there it is five tips for the USPGA. Personally I want Monty to win and despite having the perfect game for it I seriously doubt he will pose a challenge, but one can live in hope.
